Sence I was 16 I am very interetested in Greek history, Greek mythology, in one word about Greece in general. When I was in my country I really wanted to try Greek food, but I didn't have such opportunity, because there isn't any Greek restaurants there. So since I came here I when twice. Second time I went with my awesome friend Sumi to the place called "Myth"(it's just near Chester station) yesterday. We spent such a great time... the food was so delicious, and the main thing which made that dinner special was that I had a great company.

When I came here I really wanted to go back, because I missed my Family and friends, but after 1 month I started to enjoy my life here in Toronto. I have been here almost 10 months and 1 month in ahead! I visited some interesting places, I tried different kind of foods, such as Greek food, Japanese food, Thai food and so on... but I like Greek and Thai food most, of course after uzbek food :-))). The most thing I met a lot of friends and I hope I'll see them again.

In my opinion, you need money to your daily needs, such as food. But I don't think that you can buy such important things as FRIENDSHIP! Because you can not buy friend, it is not a thing. Even if you do, will it be real friendship! I don't think so!

The British created Halifax to act as a naval and army base to protect them from the French who had established the town of Louisbourg on the northern island of Nova Scotia. Halifax acted as a British naval base until 1906 when the Canadian government took it over.
Before Cornwallis arrived at this southern, peninsular area of Nova Scotia with 2,500 British settlers, the area had acted as a French fishing station. Beginning in the 17th century, the French and the British had struggled over control of the Atlantic provinces of Canada, most specifically Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. The French-speaking people living in the areas of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, known as Acadians, were unique people; French, Scottish, Irish and even Portuguese influences were apparent in their culture. About 8,000 Acadians lived in these areas when the British claimed them as their own in the mid-18th century. Six thousand Acadians were expelled from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick between 1755 and 1760. Yet, by 1800 many Acadians had returned. This clash of cultures lasted through the 19th century and many Acadian influences can still be seen in the area
