 A guide to bloggin and the features on this blog community. You may want to check this page somtimes for added features.

 

• Create an account
• Get your password from the email sent to you.
• Login 
• Click edit to change your password and upload a profile picture.
• When chagning your password in "edit" also make sure to enter your email address and check (√) the "Personal Contact Form" to enable it. This allows others to contact you by email through your personal contact form but YOUR EMAIL IS NOT SHOWN TO ANYONE.
  
• To make sure everything is working click "logout" and then login again - with your new password.
  

Adding Content to your blog

• To create your first blog either click "my blog" or "create content"
• You cann add images, attachements and special characters to your blog
• Your first blog should be about who you are - introduction

• To add images to your gallery click on "my gallery" and using the same login as for you blog login.
• Click "my album or select your album from dropdown index.
• Add, delete albums and pictures in your gallery. You can also add pictures by linking to pictures in other peoples gallery.

• Just click on the camera icon at the bottom of the text entry/edit box. You have the choice to upload or use an existing picture in one of the albums. Use the CAMERA icon for this. The TREE icon is for inserting pictures that are on other web site (not in albums or on your comuter).
  
• IMPORTANT: the pictures you have in your gallery cannot be accsses by your blog. Gallery pictures are completely sepearate and cannot be accessed directly when editing your blog, book or forrum. You can only palce a link to them. Pictures you place in your blog are public. 
  

You can add your friends to you favorite list (buddy list).

• Just click on "my buddy list" and below it click on "add a buddy". Choose a buddy and when their prfile open up go down the page and click on "add to my buddy list".

To help you keep in touch with friends ESH blog has a chatbox. At the bottom of the right menu panel you will see the "Chatbox" .

If anyone is in the box you will see their name listed. To start chatting with them click on "join the chatbox". If the chatbox is empty you can alway joing and see who joins you in the box for a chat. 

 

Everytime you blog you earn points. You can use these points to buy stuff at the ESH cafe. The point schedule will be posted here soon. Your points are listed at the bottom of the page under "User points".

 

It's very important that you logout when you are finished. There are two ways to logout

• Click on "logout" - this is the best and easiest way.
  
• Close ALL  browser windows. All.
